I went out this afternoon to get a pair of running shoes...

I came home with the Black Pearl.

i.e. a sleek black 60GB video iPod.
i.e. my baby.

I also got a black "Sports Jacket" sleeve/case and an extra year of care & warranty (through CompUSA, not Apple, of course) and a travel charger, so she'll be in the best of hands. er, form-fitting silicon.

and now I have to mop the floor, when all I really want to do is ditch all previous plans of ficcing and love on my new toy.

mmyes. and if I hadn't insisted on a lovely black one, I'd've had to pay $50 more! so it all works out quite nicely.

(I ran! I ran! I hurt, but I ran! and it's a different kind of hurt, which is a much better, more encouraging, "I may be beginning to perhaps start to get somewhere with this, some time soon" kind of hurt. :D)

You what would be so cool? If someone could do a crossover vid where the Bruce/Ducard swordfight gets merged with the James/Jack/Will one and maybe also the Inigo/Westley one as well. I cand decide on a song, though, possibly just a really good hornpipe.
