soooooo I have nothing to post about.

soooooo I'm gonna post anyway.

went to The Vagina Monologues with jobiegirl6 yesterday. nifty. thinkworthy. then, worked today. work tomorrow. work the next day. work work work work work. but, work leads to money! which leads to fun-time and FREEDOM, which leads to a happy Mel. happy happy, yay.

...oh...and...um... OH. OH WHAT I DID DO TONIGHT WAS I WATCHED THE SERIES PREMIERE OF THAT NEW SHOW, DRIVE, THE ONE WITH NATHAN FILLION IN IT. I love it. I love him. he's kind of typecast; publicity calls his character a "rogue landscaper". which ... yes. it's basically Cap'n-Tightpants-gets-in-a-pickup-truck-and-starts-driving-cross-country-to-[SPOILER],-and-fuck-anyone-who-gets-in-the-way.

... in other words, it is awesome. and, you know, Tim Minear is doing executive and sometimes writey stuff with it, so that's shiny too. and you can probably stream the 2-hour premiere from FOX some time tomorrow, if you missed it, just in time to watch the next episode tomorrow night in its official timeslot, Mondays 8/7.

oh, lastly, some of you might be interested to know that thanks to reading time at both jobs I have FINALLY finished Komarr and am about a quarter of the way through A Civil Campaign. DON'T ASK ME HOW I LIKE(D) THEM; I AM SO SUCKY AT ANSWERING THAT QUESTION. suffice to say, I did. do. definitely. :D --look, I even incorporated alliteration in my emote! *g*
