And he's sitting on my open copy of Nelson's Navy and coveting my single cold plain pancake.

Lucky twit, he is, that I've finished what research I need from that book for the moment and therefore am relatively gentle in urging him to get his furry arse off the officers' berth diagram on page 110!

Wait. There's a joke to be made there about sitting, and sodomy, and the navy and arses but I can't quite think of how it should go. Ah well.

It's nice to know your dog digs the Navy, but still, I think it merits a bit more attention than be faced with a furry arse.
By the way, I'll SO add that book to my wishlist. WANT!!!

And the bookstore I visited recently had NO BOOKS AT ALL about the age of sail or ships in general. Can you imagine that???
