I don't know that the issue here is with experience. St. John had a LOT of experience with the supernatural, seeing as he was Jesus'closest disciple.

Yeah British programming is awesome. I watched this Britcom the other night on PBS with my family. It was SO funny!... don't remember what it was called. The guy who plays Rimmer on Red Dwarf was a defendant in a murder case. There were all these things that pointed to him being a homicidal maniac who dealt drugs, but really he was just a clumsy character whose enemies liked to put glue on things that he touched. One of those things was a chainsaw. You can figure it out from there.
