like a door that keeps revolving / in a half-forgotten dream
I present to you my song offering of the day.
It is not piratical (I can do that, though, if people want. I have much of the old-school sea shanties).
It is the audio to the newly snagged (if still gigungous) Breakfast on Pluto trailer. It is also just a damned haunting and beautiful song.
Dusty Springfield's The Windmills of your Mind
I think I might just barely make it 'till November. *twitchy*
...*watching trailer again*
Anyway, great song.
Oh, also, because I said I might:
FAURE! (Cantique de Jean Racine)
...um...
Ok this is damned addictive. Have some more:
Woo Hoo by The 5.6.7.8's
Phantom of the Opera techno remix
Carbon Leaf - American Tale
Shanty for the Arethusa - The Decemberists (actually boatish!)
There's a lot more where those came from. Who knows, I may do this semi-regularly. It would make some use of my roughly 10 gig of music...
