...god, I can't believe I'm pimping my director (Sam)'s music. The Eglantine takes some warming to, but I do like his harp concerto. also, the first two songs are gifts from [livejournal.com profile] silverjet747, Savage Garden ->- Ours are from [livejournal.com profile] sakurabubbles (BREAK ME SHAKE ME IS SO W/C), and Telemann ->- Bach are [livejournal.com profile] mllereddeath, unless I am mistaken. the mass of Piazzolla tango (ooh that was redundant) is 3/5 of what got me through Tango de las Ciencias, Faure > zen, and all that Pozner at the end? just kicks ass. also, Apollo Sunshine makes me happy.

AND HERE ARE THREE PICTURES

(this is last year's AP Eng. Lit. teacher. he enjoys (fundamentally) Hamlet, tragedies, and the Oedipal Complex. raise your hand if you kinda get that...)

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
(mel, prom dress, coffee. OT3. and the hat (much love [livejournal.com profile] gryphons_lair) just makes it... so much more incredible. that was the best prom ever. and that's teh Em looking lovely in lilac to my left right.)

(these are my Pirate Pants. and also an example of my never-matching socks, as seen at a post-grad party at Julia's.)

THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!

time for soup.

Holy crap. Do you know how much I love you right now? I've been needing some good orchestral music for aaaaaaaaages now and you've just saved my ass. Also, Savage garden and APC still make me a very happy kitten.

*loves all over Mel*

You are such a star. Seriously. I feel like you need something back in return for sharing this. What do you want? Because damn, you rule all.

oh, yay! I'm so glad someone else gets to have fun with this music. I love it and I wanted to share the joy, but nobody was biting!! so it just makes me totally happy that it makes you happy. you know?

awesome.

[identity profile] xzombiexkittenx.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you kidding me? I mean, just having Passive would be enough. I've been wanting that song since I heard it in Constantine...

*doesn't have it on loop at all*

Word.

Steeaaling.

That hat is awesome. They wouldn't give us coffee at our prom. D: It made me sad...

[identity profile] meletor-et-al.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
yaaay! another friend who appreciates good music! *boogie*

YES the hat IS AWESOME. [livejournal.com profile] gryphons_lair is on the top of my list of Incredible People, for that reason and many others. butbut... no coffee! for shame! I needed the coffee... food+corset+running around since STUPID O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING makes a tired li'l' Mel.

I'm pretty sure we friended each other after a discussion about music. xD I think it was one of the tracks from Batman Begins...

Even suckier, they only had Coke, which I don't drink, so I had no caffiene to help me last. x(

I've never worn a corset. O_o How is that?

[identity profile] meletor-et-al.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
LASIURUS. yis. well, that and then, like, all the tracks... *geeeeeek*

oh, tres suck. I don't drink regular Coke either, but diet Coke is HOW I SURVIVE. no, seriously. I keep it in my Nalgene bottle... >.>'

personally? I prefer it to not. but I'm insane. it depends on the kind of corset you get, how used to it you become, and plain old taste. ...*shrug* I'm weird.

[identity profile] justaredherring.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
That one's my favorite. ^__^ Eptesicus and Cornorhinus are close behind though... And now I think we might just be reiterating comments we've already gone through. xD

The only diet pop I've ever had was Diet 7-Up, and it was pretty terrible. I've never tried diet Pepsi (normal Pepsi is my addiction).

Heh, not too weird. And I've worn some odd stuff over the years, being in dance.

*Corynorhinus. Missed a letter there.

do you know how incredibly hot awesome it is that you know not only how to spell those tracks, but which ones they are? and have favorites?

...at least, in my opinion... >.>; um.

ELITE BATMAN SOUNDTRACK GEEKERY!

[identity profile] justaredherring.livejournal.com 2005-11-07 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I try. xD
