adventures in the utterly mundane

1) there is an empty shopping cart from Hannaford's in the dorm elevator.

2) ITEMS OF CLOTHING THAT ARE LEFT IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM FOR MORE THEN THREE DAYS WILL BE REMOVED BY HOUSEKEEPING.

3) The String Quartet Tribute to Massive attack, while lovely in its own right, sounds very little like the set of Massive Attack songs chosen. listen: Inertia Creeps & Teardrop -- pretty, but musically awkward attempts. I have the SQT version of 'Inertia Creeps' stuck in my head right now. it is so much less kickass than the original; I don't think anyone could do math to this one.

The String Quartet Tributes in general seem to be underwhelming. I've heard them for Clay Aiken, Incubus, Snow Patrol, and a few others... and bleh. They're just not at all impressive, which is too bad, because I really like the concept (but obviously not the execution).
