You do all of that by hand with royal icing? They're so detailed - I couldn't bear to eat one! The alligator! How do you get alligator cutters??! those are some truly spectacular sugar cookies. I suck at decorating those. I usually cheat and use colored sugar or icing from the craft store. You're brilliant! Have a great party
all of these cutters are ones handed down from my great-grandmother to my grandmother to my mother to me; I don't know where to actually find anything like them :-p
some of my earlier cookies were DISASTROUS, because it was my first time using royal icing and it took some experimentation to get the consistency of the icing and the size of the tip right. but I'm happy with the way they turned out!
