hooray for employment...thing...ish...ness. yay! :-D
so. I got the job! it is basically picking up the grimy, citation-y pieces of all the research this woman's done on her book over the course of fourteen years. and the manuscript's fiftyish pages, but.
she is less organized than I am. (*gasp*)
which is to say, basically, that random surprise bits of the bibliographic info I need are just NOT THERE, so my job is to go find them and then make all the citations happen in an organized and shiny fashion. like magic. .:: wiggles fingers ::.
IOW, AAH, FOOTNOTES!

I love footnotes so much more than endnotes :)
Not that most people, you know, have a preference, but I do.

oooh you used shiny too. Which means Firefly is in your brain. Simon/Jayne? Come on, you have to see it.
(I've discovered it's because the actor who plays Simon is gay, which makes Simon seem queer, but still...Jayne/Simon, you should write it. You love it really.)

Jayne/Simon is wrong, though, and as of this comment, that wrongness is of the sort that I do not wish to write
though knowing me, I pretty much make no guarantees.OTOH I do agree that Simon should get some amount of male-tail, because yes he is gay and even gayer now that it's actorally founded.

*high fives you*
I hope the good karma keeps going!
Is this job enough to pay your studies or will you absolutely need the other one? (I need to know if I keep my fingers painfully crossed or if I can relax them a little, eh ^^)

*high five!*
actually, I think this might be able to/have to? take the place of otherjobness, so you can have your fingers back and a BIG THANK YOU for crossing them! *G*
(and, up there? that was going to be "*g*", but then icon!Chloe made me grin even bigger. :D )
Congrats~!
