so, there's this box of Hot Tamales candies that's been sitting on the table since forever, unopened. I think my mom bought it. and everybody knows that as soon as it GETS opened, it's gonna go *poof*, because that's the way a five-person, two-teenager, one post-teenager household works.

... I really want some, though. o_o

But I know what you mean. The only way to make opened (or even existing) snackfoods last in my house is to hide them. :( I've had a grab bag of chips in my pants drawer for several years... I don't think I'll ever be opening them... But I might set them where Christopher can find them. *Cackle*
