I really really want to go to culinary school instead of spending oodles of money stubbornly finishing an english degree that I will probably only use to pay for culinary school, if that. :/



(I do want to finish said degree, eventually, but OMG CULINARY SCHOOL.)

If what you really want is to be a professional chef, go for it!

But make sure you know what you're signing up for before you decide. I'm pretty sure pir8fancier would be willing to talk about her experiences. She used to be a professional pastry chef and could give you some good info on what you'd be letting yourself in for.

*nod* I know it's going to be a lot of work and a HARD ROAD, which is why this is definitely not a decision I'm taking lightly. thanks for the advice!
