part 2 of the 'clockwork cookies' project!

'clockwork cookies' decoration test run - fondant and royal icing, applied to cookies

(old-world butter cutout cookie with lemon-aniseed (vegan) royal icing and aniseed fondant)

Photobucket
finalized proto-cookie; slung electric blue royal icing atop a baked-off cookie and slapped the fondant on that mothertrucker. then took it outside for a sparkly photo op.

haha, yeah, they're pretty fiddly. thank you! :D

well, WisCon's at the end of May and I agreed to bring goodies for the bake sale. so the past couple days have been devoted to a test run to see if I could actually successfully pull off this steampunk cookie idea I had -- and it totally worked! (it's just going to take me a couple billion years when the time actually arrives to make a full batch of these mofos for the con :/)
