Oatmeal? Cozy tea? Fic?
Ok, chickies, here's the thing.
-M is facing another terriblehorriblenogoodverybad day. She is tired. She wants to curl up and be happy. She *really* wants to watch the Leslie Howard Scarlet Pimpernel again. But she cannot, and she must subject herself again to the stutter-inducing Uncle Attack codename:5S (spring cleaning gone all to hell).
There are two things that would make -M very, very happy when she retreats to her Fortress of Solitude and the Incorrigible after 5S. These are: fic recs -- something nice, like comfort food in fic form. Something reminiscent of the "classic Sparrington", if at all possible. Ratings across the board, just... something nice. And second: some opinions on A Dinner Party (Em, Liz, John, Sarah, etc., you might want to pass on this, but it's totally up to you). This fic became a major project, and I'm actually proud of it (though the ending still nags me), and despite being happy just to write it for the sake of writing, had hoped it could bring a few people amusement besides myself. And I'm admittedly a feedback whore, as we know.
Now I have to go to clean.
-Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more...
(Also: I need to get a phone card, or some method of calling without need to use the blocked long distance, out to Pennsylvania. ASAP. And I am quite fabuously broke. Any ideas?)
