1: I was bored last night, so I finally got up the gumption (and the makeup) to take pictures. There are ten of 'em, so I'll just link to the images, and not take up space and bandwidth posting 'em straight. But here's one, just for kicks.

Yay for glitter. And the bathroom mirror XP

Everything else is here if you want to surf around them and the rest of my photobucket, or for individually wrapped piccies, check .

Ice Fairy on Crack or Medieval Renaissance Coolness... you decide. (The first one's my idea; the second one's Srettan's)

2: A homeless man was beaten to death in Milwaukee last week. For sport.

Think about it.

3: America is the world's teenager. Think about that too.

4: Everything I hear nowadays about MSND just further reaffirms my choice to drop. Sam's getting far too big for his britches (Which is ironic, considering how much weight he lost after my Freshman year XP)

Okay, this is getting too depressing. Someone do something amusing.

hmm

All of the sudden I 'really' want to go buy some glitter... Eh, maybe after marching band season. I may post pics of my costume for Halloween if I get up the nerve. (I'm gonna be Groves, unsurprisingly)Still, I really like your dress, but.. is that the style generally worn to homecoming? Here, you have to wonder if there's a sequin left elsewhere in all of the state. Once more, cool pics.

For us it is, because we only have 3 dances (Homecoming, Sadies, and Prom) and they're all formal. And I go to a private school, remember, so whether or not I have the money, everyone else pays $100s for their dresses.

Mine was $20 and a corset I already had, and a blouse I already had.

Oh, I've got to see your Groves costume. Hope it works out; those things are near impossible to put together on a low budget.

I can't understand why someone would pay so much for something they'll wear only a few times.. well, wedding dresses being the acception. My prom dress last year was like.. $90, and i got it at Sears. The costume should work out.. *gulp* I hope.. I've got the material purchased and cut out, and a friend of mine's gonna sew it together. Even if it turns out horrid, which I doubt, it'll be recognizable. I got most of the material on sale, so it didn't hurt that much, financially. Are you gonna dress up for Halloween?

Oooh, pretty dress, I wants one! Not that I'll ever have anything to wear such an ace dress to - we just don't have the kind of formal do's over here that you guys do. I mean, at Uni there's Balls & such like, but everyone buys their dresses from the High Street shops. So the only "proper" dress I've ever worn is my wedding dress (which I really should put piccies up of at some point).

Um... sorry, I'm very good at doing amusing stuff. At least not on all by me onesies...

I read this post on sunday, but I didn't have the time to comment. Will make up for that now.

1. Your pics are lovely. This dress really suits you. And when we talked about corsets in Yahoo, I couldn't really picture how this would look like, I always picture some lashed in girls of the 17th century - or pin-up girls, but this doesn't really count *g* Anyway, now I know what you meant! It's very pretty. The glitter thing, too.

2. Reminds me a bit of Matthew Shepard's story. I hate hearing about such things, always gets me angry. Why can people be like that? Are we living in the 21st century or in the Stone Age?
By the way, today I got an official mail from the e-mail monitor at our high school and he said that circular mails should only be used in important cases, for example when you're looking for a car pool. I was not very far from throwing things around.

3. Thought about it, but I guess that every country's got its own disease. I'm only wondering why they haven't died of it yet.

4. Sorry, but what is MSND?
