I just got home from a really freaking cool two-day conference/forum on bioethics and sustainability. some truly wicked panel discussions, a handful of solidly mind-blowing presentations, and the opportunity to pick some of the top brains in the sustainability/worldchanging arena. \o/

more on that later, though, because OH MY GOD EXHAUSTED.

Falcons are the most amazing birds. We have a nesting pair that live under one of the bridges near my house. NY Environmental Conservation have set up a webcam near their nest so you can watch them. They have 4 eggs this year which should be starting to hatch the first or second week in May.

It's pretty boring at the moment, as the female very rarely leaves the nest, but when the chicks are there it's fun to watch.
