Caaaaaalm down, -M. Take a deep, cleansing breath. D-M's here to help. (finally, french immersion comes in handy, ahahahaha)
OK, first of all, someone with a French accent will not pronounce the H's at the beginning or in the middle of a word. At the end, I think they do, but I'm not sure. E.G. household = 'ouse'old (sometimes even without the D at the end. incidentally, saying this quickly enough makes it sound like asshole. i learned that in science class ^^)
Oh, VERY important (which means you prolly know it already), whereas we pronounce our R's from the back of the throat, they pronounce it from the tip of the tongue. Obviously, the only difference this will make when written down is that some words will make them roll their R's. Funny, isn't it?
There's the pronounciation of vowels that'll definently make a difference. Let's see...their long vowels are a bit squeakier and more pronounced than ours, and the short vowels are harder. Short E in particular.
That's really all I can think of right now, but if you need 'nthing else, I'll bet I've got more stored around in here.
Now get writing!! As for me, I'm off to begin chap. 3 of Gillington... *stalks off*
