partly because I am probably going to have to drop racing sail
Am absconding with Mobile Nautical Library, Jack Absolute, and a notebook and pen.

...you, in the background, cheering, shut up.
This development does not surprise anyone, and I would be insulted to hear that it did.

So, today at The Keep I met Chris and ... other guys (the lunch group teehee), and George (His Name Is George) took a break from his Online RPG Thingummie to get me the Batman comics he pulled from the 25c bin for me. And then intorduced me to, as I've said, Chris (his boss) and ... 2 other guys, all of whom were eating chinese and pretending not to feed bits to the dog. We yammered about Miller, and the diminishing coolness of "The Dark Knight Strikes Again," and I'm really not that confident so I kinda looked strangled and terrified and glowingly enthusiastic, and nodded a lot...

I need to not act like a middle-schooler with a crush, esp. when there is no crush involved.

Anyway, so for $4.50 I got
All-Star Batman and Robin #2 (and whatever [livejournal.com profile] scans_daily says, I am hyped about it)
Batman Detective Comics #781, 2, 3
Batman #613, 4, 5
(I have those in .pdf, along with most of Hush, but NGAH LEE LOVE and having them on paper is happiness.)

...Yay George.

Cleared up my weirded-out ATM debit card issues at the TD Banknorth at Hannaford, yey.

Read Jack Absolute all the time I was walking, and can I just say, leave it to Tarleton to catscratch someone across the face with a long-stemmed hothouse rose. Bitch.

I don't think I've ever felt the need to apologize to a fic before. Though, given what I've written, I probably should have a few times by now.

I hereby formally apologize to 'Psalms to the Taffrail' for being a really bad authoress, which finally came to the forefront of my realization when I mistyped 'officer' as 'orifice'. (however, be honest, that's got to be a slightly common occurence 'round these parts... right?)

So, mostly out of curiosity, and partly in the interest of beating myself up with guilt, I have a question or two.

[Poll #572017]

PSALMS 26.

zomgf. Just in time early, which is better than late (which is better than never), for ITLAPD, PSALMS HAPPENED. I think it's because of the Earl Grey with dinner, myself.

...I kinda wish I actually liked it. Oh well; that's probably just me being snotty.
