and the thing is, I know you've probably heard variations on this theme about a thousand times, and I know I don't know very much about plumbing, but isn't red supposed to be for HOT, and blue for COLD?

also on the list of things you've probably heard a thousand times, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin died.

I know I'm a terrible, soulless wretch, but I cannot be the only person who laughed when I heard this.
(then I realized a significant part of my youth had died, leaving millions of already-tasteless-and-now-even-more-so bad jokes and dodgy Australian accents in his wake, and I mourned. in his final act of derring-do, Steve Irwin had tainted us all.)

also true. to be honest, I'm heartbroken, and still can't quite get my head around the fact that. I mean. he's gone.

it's horrible, but I truly don't know whether to laugh or cry. a stingray spine through the heart.
