Well, it's probably what you deserve when you're 12, and have restrained your little brother with handcuffs and copious amounts of sellotape, and are attempting to further taunt him by placing the key in your mouth and dancing manically...

Yes well. I had restrained him, and it wasn't the first time. My dad found us and rescued us from our various asphyxiations, but I learnt not to put small things in my mouth...

Tee hee. When I was little, my friends and I were always trying to barbecue my sister...

...not that we knew how to work the barbecue. Besides, we always got caught.

Yeah, we have an catering-sized oven, and whilst I never get round to it, I'm always threatening to cook her. She is only six though, so it could be mean.

Awww...your poor sister! I can never do anything to mine. She has the ultimate children's weapon (even though she's a teenager): she screams 'til one or both of my parents come running.

Yes, she does that too. My mom refuses to aknowledge that the reason she has no respect of property is because she knows that my mom will buy her something new next time they go out. And if all else fails, she does big, mournful eyes and says something about family, which just reduced my mom to jelly.

Oy, sucks to have siblings with weapons like that. My sister can almost always argue my mom into buying her new clothes, whether she needs them or not.

Yes, with my mom it's all..."I'm not going to buy her anything this time", and I roll my eyes, and she comes home with like six skirts and a cry of "Oh, but they were so cheap".

Yeah. Sometimes my sister buys stuff with her own money, then suddenly there's a two-for-one, or something else cheaper that my sister won't buy herself, so mum ends up paying for that.

Yep, but she's all "oh, I love this... And this." I suppose she's only six, so I should cut her some slack, but it's just ridiculous for mom to claim she's not going to but the stuff.

Six is forgivable. Mine's fourteen, and she sounds just like your sister! That's when it starts getting ridiculous.

Yep. No child needs twelve pink skirts, or a new doll everytime she's in a toystore. She's such a little madam as well, once, I told her to put a jumper on, and she gave me this look, and just said "Do I look like I'm shivering?"

Lucky you. I'm not sure my sister knows that word. She has a very limited (ie. teenager) vocabulary. She's very good at the looks though, I must say.

I know what you mean. My comp doesn't suck, but we have NO programs whatsoever on it that I can use to make an icon. It's terrible! *wails*

Can't you get a pirate copy? Or find a nice friend to fill your life with icony goodness?

Actually, I have a couple of friends who've made me icons, but I'm too shy to ask usually.

Plus, I can only have three at a time, so I just rotate. I don't need that many.

Pirate copy, eh?

Yeah... Do you have any friends with computer 'skills'? They usually know where to get the stuff.

Heh heh. My uncle's got all kinds of stuff like that, but I don't know about Photoshop. I'll ask him.

There's also the "lite" version, which costs a third of the full version. And according to a friend of mine who has it, it can do most of the same stuff.

Yeah, they usually can. That happens when Bill Gates realises that he can't sell the ridiculously expensive version to everybody, so makes a cheaper version to sell more copies. The difference is usually minor, just missing some specifiacally professional extras.

Heh heh. So maybe Bill Gates really has some sense after all. Wow. I marvel.

Actually, it may be a third of the price, but it still costs about $200. And I think that's U.S. So maybe almost $400 here. Oy...

Yep. I'm hoping my friend can get me a cheap pirate copy next time I see him. Though admittedly, my own 'skills' are not much. I have just enough expertise in Photoshop to recognise the superiority of others.

I'm still pimping out the Gillette icon you made me. I've found a surprising number of Gillette fans that way. It's very cool.
