oh, I know I can revise it, and I will. it's already been through a good three full overhauls before this point, and it's up for another. but, I think, right now, I'm wanting to write Straw Men. I may have just figured out the sentence that's been stumping me since before Toxic went out to the QCT.

also, worrying abated (and sans tachycardia, even); I love my roomie. she gave me a notebook. so, thusly relaxed, and resigned to the fact that the drunkenness surrounding me will not subside before I've had another hour or so, I write!

(no, I shit you not, they've gotten drunk every night this week. I'm hoping the novelty will wear off soon enough and they'll at least stop getting black-out, run-into-walls, pound-on-my-door drunk more than a few times a week)

Eh, tisn't annoying. It's actually very pleasant to have someone on my flist who understands the sadomasochistic process of writing Batman darkfic.

That isn't selfish to wish me that! And I'm trying, I'm trying... there's tons of Joker (well, not tons... just a bit of crucial stuff) in this chapter. He just makes everything all better. Now if only I could get past this part of the chapter and get to the Joker bits, things might be better. *facepalm*
