Music-share without the Diet Coke.

All dead guys, all the time.

...and other such intriguing catchphrases.

as you can see, we need a community icon. um, and members. oh, and if anyone has any places where pimping might be able to occur? that would be awesome. because damned if I haven't been wanting to set this up for quite a long time now, and I finally got fed up enough with emo-punk mainstream "alternative" to do it.

From reading the user info, classical music does count right? Because if I join, I would kinda like to have something to offer despite the fact that it's hard for me to rip my music off of my classical music CDs because for some reason my CD ripping program can't figure out the names for each of the tracks. >.>

classical music totally counts :D

(p.s. despite the crapitude of other ripping programs, iTunes seems to always figure out track names. something which I find pretty awesome.)

That's good because I've been on a classical music kick for the last few days.

You know, I wonder if Napster can figure out the track names since I'd rather not have to install any other programs.

(I secretly want to get a CD of music from the American Civil War and like rip a copy of the Battle Hymn of Republic and share it with people, but I doubt people would be interested)

Music-geekage!

I like this idea very much, so I have joined your community.

What sort of icons did you want? I dabble a bit, although most of my icons look something like this one.

ahahaha, what a fabulous icon :D
and I'm so glad you've joined!

well, it's really not imperative that the community have an icon, of course. but if you're willing, and simple and, of course, musicky icon (the geekier the better!) will suffice. thank you!

A few icons.

Here are a few icons I made. The first two are from bases by demetakat.

This one uses a picture of Alessandro Moreschi, one of the last castrati, and the only one to be recorded. I have an mp3 of him singing Gounod's Ave Maria, which is interesting.

If these aren't suitable, I can make others.
