ok, yeah, it's a fandom.

I mean, the boys have taken up residence in my brain, so that I can't write a freaking chronological background without hearing about how Don used to make 2-year-old Charlie do his math homework (a la dragging him around the back yard by his ankles until he caved and promised, if-anything's-crossed-it-doesn't-count-(as-crossed), to finish Don's worksheets and not tell anyone), and how if Don tried to fake sick Charlie would figure the statistical probability of it and threaten to tell their parents unless Don agreed to let him hang out and watch TV with him (because Charlie didn't really do regular schooling until he started high school at age 9; they tried enrolling him in kindergarten and that worked for about 2 weeks), and how that one time, the two boys tried to make ice cream based on Charlie's temperature calculations and ended up with a sticky, sugary, milky mess all over the kitchen, and salt and ice everywhere... and it was totally Don's fault for putting ice down Charlie's back...

wtf.

THIS IS NUTS. IT'S INSANE. I kinda love it. *g*

oh, and by the way, MY younger-sib-prodigy's ART SHOW OPENS TODAY -- her piece is really ridiculously awesome and FUN and I wish I could be there. D:

So I found your lj through the numb3rs icons you just posted and I loved, and I was just browsing your lj because I really don't want to do my poli sci reading and I came across this entry and OMG---This totally has happened with me within the last couple weeks. I have fallen completely for Numb3rs and basically is always on my mind.

yeah...so sorry for being so random about that :)
I just thought it was kinda fun.

That and in your lj user info it said you went to school in WI, and I live in WI so I thought that was kinda cool too.

Ok, onto my homework now. I'm done procrastinating and freaking out people on LJ I don't know with my weird comments

AHAHAHA! that's awesome. I am, of course, glad I could facilitate your poli sci procrastination. and also glad to know there's someone else in a similar predicament -- it's madness! but it keeps me writing, and that's fantastic. it also makes my brain a little stickier for my number theory lectures! woot!

yep, I grew up in WI and my family lives there, just 10-15 minutes southwest of Milwaukee. came up to Maine for school :D

your weird comment totally made my night! and your Larry icon is just wonderful *g*

I'm in Greenfield, about two minutes from the border of Milwaukee.

I'm not in a math class anymore (which my GPA thanks me for, though if I had a professor like Charlie....that'd be another story), but I have a habit of relating everything i learn to one of my fandoms and I was talking with a friend yesterday and related something to Numb3rs and she goes...oh god, here we go again. Now we won't hear anything else but Numb3rs...I can't help it, when a show is good, its good. Plus, its good to listen to when I'm supposed to be doing work.

So again....I'm procrastinating. Sorry for the rambling :)

dude! New Berlin :D

wow, and it looks like you're at Marquette? what a very small world! not only was my mother a professor of poli sci for a while (before I came about, of course), but after that she worked in administration at MU! or something, I think. I was between the ages of 2 and 6; I don't remember :p

you know, I don't have nearly enough Numb3rs fans on my flist, and it's also way cool to bump into someone from the Milwaukee area in the wide wide world of LJ. mind if I grab onto your coattails?

Sure, definitely :) I was talking the other day about not having ANY Numb3rs fans on my flist, so this is exciting!
