themeletoras we surely know (and as my whiteboard proclaims, after reluctantly erasing the Peter Jackson wants to film Temeraire!!, which also did not terribly want to be erased as it was in regular magic marker because I'm a dorkface), today is INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!
which is basically just an excuse for me to run around in my tricorn and pajamas, since 'rents didn't mail my boots, thus robbing me of a full costume. and I mean, my pajamas *are* a pair of Captain Morgan sleep pants and a "Pirate Booty: Partying from Fore to Aft, Stem to Stern" t-shirt.
I've already gotten a few odd looks (and some approving thumbs-ups!) opening doors for people at breakfast.

also -- HEE, YAY FOR LJ GETTING INTO THE SPIRIT! "Update Captain's Log" INDEED.
