well for fuck's sake.
Feb. 25th, 2007 08:18 pmtoday was a crap day. I started it by falling face-first off my bed (which, for those of you who don't already know, is somewhere around five feet above the ground) and have just ended it with a car accident -- not too bad: no injuries (aside from, yanno, the leftovers from FALLING FACE-FIRST OFF MY MOTHERFUCKING BED, which include rugburn on my forehead and under my nose, a bitten lip, and a bruise on my cheekbone/browbone and right shoulder from BASHING ONE HARD INTO THE OTHER), a busted headlight, hood dink, and wobbled bumper on our car, and a dented back rear wheel-well area for theirs; but still full of suck.
dude. fuck Wisconsin. fuck it.
it was on the way back from the game exchange store, though, where Pidge got From Russia With Love for Gamecube and Quake for N64, and I got ... All-Star Baseball 2004 for Gamecube. shut up. so I'm going to go have some nice soup for dinner, and play or watch my brother play or watch Friday's Numb3rs episode or something ("something" will probably include watching the Oscars because YAY! ELLEN!), to chill out and get my feet back under me before calling the accident in to the insurance company.
ON A HAPPY NOTE, THOUGH!
tiggothy! I got the little guys safely, and they don't appear to have fought too much! each one is on an opposite side of my keyring, making jingly clacky noises. thank you for the smiles, darling, and for the motivation to go get my own copies of our house and car keys made. ♥
[ETA: HOLY FUCK WHY DO I HAVE "DRIVE IN DRIVE OUT" STUCK IN MY HEAD? ...wait, no. don't answer that.]
[ETA2: YAAAAAAAAY MELISSA ETHERIDGE!]

Date: 2007-02-26 05:56 pm (UTC)*hugs* re. accident & falling off bed - it does sound rather like a day of suck (and not sucking in a good way. Mmm... weren't there supposed to be some sticky pirates somewhere around my head?) I used to have a bed that high - I bashed my head on the ceiling every day for a week just after we finished building it, until I learned to bend my neck as I sat up in the morning, and also to duck as I climbed up the ladder. Seems bloody ludicrous now, but it really was the only way to store both mine & my sisters stuff all in one room... oh, and I did fall off it at least once...
