Me I'm thinking Colby - deep cover double agent. With serious serious issues because his best friend is playing for the other side and he's pretending to be while actually not, then things get scarily out of hand and his contact dies a gruesome death and Colby's got no one to go back to who knows what side he's really on and then whatsisname saves his life and Colby gets even more fucked up in the head and I'm quite sure there's a torture scene or two in there. So yes. I'm all for crazy fucked up not entirely sure which side he's really playing for but makes the right decision in the end Colby and Charlie's the only one who can put together that Colby is really working for the right side and save him from fucking Bush's waterboarding isn't really torture hell at Guantanamo...
i love spies. you know that. i've read Le Carre and Trevanian and Fleming and Ludlum since i was wee. I think I'm sort of but not really ok with spy!Colby (though i really do want to write Bond/Colby pron to make myself feel better...)and now I'm jsut babbling.
