[so the thing is that these pictures were all SO bad that the idea of cropping and mucking with them for a post was getting me all overwhelmed and cranky. which, I mean, a squee post should not be about crankiness, at all. so. YOU GUYS, THESE PICTURES KIND OF SUCK. they do. but I ♥ them, and I totally said I'd make a picture post. so here's a picture post.]

on Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] bipagan and [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat and I went to Summerfest to see Panic! at the Disco with Gym Class Heroes, The Academy Is ..., and The Hush Sound. and it was just. OMG. fangirl bonding, and sunscreen smearing, and ass grabbing (well okay it was more of a passing grope), and perving peoplewatching and just. EEE. AND THEN, YOU KNOW, THE WHOLE CONCERT THING. WHICH ROCKED.

this is how far away [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat was from [livejournal.com profile] bipagan and I. she bought her ticket at kind of the last minute, so while her seat was pretty darn good (just one row back from us; 22 from the stage), she was on the completely totally other side of the amphitheater. o.o

SO OK THE CONCERT.

first up was The Hush Sound. yaaaay! during "Don't Wake Me Up" Brendon Urie came out and sang a solo. which was pretty awesome because yes, I love Bob Morris singing "Don't Wake Me Up", but I kind of love Brendon Urie singing "Don't Wake Me Up" even more. especially when he abuses the mic stand (but it's okay! he caught it!).

after that, he went away, except for he actually just stole Bob's hat and sat way at the back of the stage.

found you, Brendon :p

and then he lost the hat, but he started AIR DRUMMING.

(this made [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat want to see someone write frustrated!ex-drummer!Brendon, and I um. kind of did. a little. and that will be posted shortly after this goes up.) (it was also really adorable.)

the next picture needs backstory because I forgot to include it chronologically.

so fairly early on [livejournal.com profile] bipagan, who is oh so good at spotting the pretty, caught a glimpse of a pretty pretty shaggy-haired tech boy (hereon known as Tambourine Tech Boy). it was later determined that he is, in fact, definitely a fluffer. just, yanno, for the sake of random slashy thoughts. anyway, here he is doing tech things:

and here he is playing tambourine with The Hush Sound for one of their last songs:

(hence the "Tambourine" in "Tambourine Tech Boy".)

after The Hush Sound, The Academy Is... performed.

[livejournal.com profile] milesfromhome, this picture is of William Beckett and it is just for you ♥

I didn't take any more pictures of TAI because I was too busy squeeing and/or dancing and/or singing along. HOORAY!

and nobody took any pictures of Gym Class Heroes, because I had pretty much given the camera over (gladly! because I am not so very good with it!) to [livejournal.com profile] bipagan, and she was totally totally engrossed. and okay I pretty much was too ;p

she did take a bunch of pictures of Panic! at the Disco, though, and it's totally absolutely not her fault that between the lighting and the camera being crap at that high a zoom and the fact that Brendon is a MONKEY all the pictures turned out like this

awwww, look at Ryan! he might be kind of dancing a little! .::squishes::.

except she did take one picture of the big "what's actually happening on the stage right now and don't you wish you could be the one holding this camera right at the lead singer's crotch level?" screen, and it looks like this

piano!Brendon! eee!

he was a little bit scruffy for this concert and OH, GOD, IT WAS LETHAL. especially in combination with the fact that he got really sweaty really fast, to the point of his shirt being pretty much see-through by the end. *burble* *perv*

so that's the end of the pictures. and my brain. [livejournal.com profile] bipagan and [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat, watch this space for uploads of the pictures .zip and Alpha Rev and the Panic! iTunes sessions ♥

everyone else -- or, well, some of you, at least -- watch this space for the stupid little comment-ficlet thing I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat.

gaaaaaaaaaaah I need to either go back in time and do it all again (not for doing anything different! just for FUN!), or GO TO SLEEP. um, neither is going to happen, though. :D

Gods, Tambourine Tech Boy fluffing fic. I don't even think it needs to be written. Just, imagined. *sigh* And he would fluff his little heart out because he loves his job. Maybe TTB told Brendan he wouldn't fluff him unless he did air drums on stage. *sigh* There just aren't enough pretty tech boys in fic.
