So my term paper is an analysis of the naval forces in that silly American Revolution, Revolutionary War, American War for Independence, etc. etc... hereafter and herein known as AmRevWar. What I've found is Ships of the Old Navy, a nice list of the whats, whos, whens, and wheres, shipwise, of the Royal Navy. What I don't have is a list of the whos, the ships, the ones out and about specifically during AmRevWar. I have enough wordiness, enough articles and whatnot and whatnot... what I need now is a down-and-dirty list. Facts and numbers, straight to the point. There's got to be one out there. But where? Anyone?

P.S. I did find this but the site's acting up and it's a lot of words and I'll read it later, skim for facts, but what I really need that this is not is a list, just a list.

(This'll be x-posted)

American Revolution, Revolutionary War, American War for Independence, etc. etc Or, as proposed in the book I've been reading: The Second English Civil War (not quite sure how he figures that one out, seeing as we had the War of the Roses as well, but *shrugs*

Anyhow, lists ye ask for... *goes off to look* (so far I've discovered that they everything you could possibly desire on microfiche at the National Maritime Museum, but I doubt that's very useful for you...

However, this site may prove useful...
