First the rules:
a. People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.
b. Tag eight people. (or don’t. whatever.)
01. What are your nicknames?
Mel. Meletor, I suppose -- it started with my sister and the internet, but the rest of my family seems to have adopted it. oh and at Stir Crazy Peter in expo calls me Melo, whereas Jose in expo calls me Molly. idek.
02. What did you have to eat today?
banana & multigrain cheerios with silk; cheese burek & a crappy salad
03. Would you rather die suddenly with no pain but no prep time or die with some pain but time to prepare?
I would absolutely rather die suddenly and with no pain. in fact, I would even rather die suddenly and with a lot of pain than with no pain and with time to prepare. I sincerely doubt I'd have the balls to live knowing I was about to die.
04. How many colors are you wearing now?
... hot damn. black, purple, and green Outpost shirt over teal, orange, red, and black striped sweater over black and white tank top over grey bra with rainbows on it; grey denim pants, brown belt, one white sock and one white sock with pink stripes. red and white striped keds. and there are approximately eighty colors on my panties. I AM A TOTAL FASHION DISASTER, YOU GUYS.
05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
here's the thing. I'm an extrovert, I think, in that I get energy from other people? but I also get run down easily if I'm around negative people or have to be "on" too much in unsupportive surroundings. I love people? but I have trouble with *new* people. I still have the tendency to fall back on being painfully shy, and I have many many years of intense insecurity under my belt. but when I can bolster myself and reach out, it's very nearly always for the best.
06. What was the last book you read?
oh balls. probably, um, the fifth Temeraire book?
07. Do you nap a lot?
I used to. when I had tiiiiime.
08. What would you do with an extra five hundred dollars right now - the only catch being that you have to spend it within a week?
pay things off :/
no, seriously. I want to say I'd do something frivolous with it, or buy christmas presents, or visit people. but for once in my life I'd feel WAY TOO GUILTY doing that. DEAR GOD, WHEN DID I BECOME SO FRUSTRATINGLY RESPONSIBLE?
09. What classes are you taking right now? And if you're not in school anymore, what's your job?
hrmph. well, I'm waitressing. and I'm working as Food Ambassador (demo coordinator) at the Outpost Natural Foods Co-op. (honestly, and don't tell my parents this, but I'm trying to decide whether I even want to mash my brain through another 3 frustrating semesters of long-term projects and glass ceilings -- as opposed to sticking with what I love (see also: Outpost Natural Foods). bluuuuuuuuurgh.)
10. What's your favorite dessert?
creme brulee. SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
it depends on how slowly I move and which job I'm getting ready for.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
gmail, LJ, change.gov, hulu, post punk kitchen, Outpost e-mail
13. What TV shows are you watching this season?
House, Supernatural. I watched 3 episodes of Chuck because Jordana Brewster was guest starring and she is HOT LIKE BURNING.
14. Do you like to clean?
yes. no. maybe. sometimes?
15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
for some unknowable reason, "It's A Jungle Out There" by Randy Newman -- better known as the title song for Monk
16. What's the last movie you saw?
ummmmm. I don't even know. honestly, it might have been Secret Smile with

17. What are you doing right now?
realizing that I really should be in bed, since I work ass-early tomorrow morning.
18. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do everyday?
lately? eat :/
19. What are you most looking forward to in the coming month?
oh god. it's really distressing that I can't think of an answer to this question.
20. Tell me something you love about the person who tagged you.
I feel truly awful because my brain is so flighty atm that I can't nail anything down. but I can say that from the first time I met Kat (COMPLETELY ACCIDENTALLY, I MIGHT ADD) in the Lush at Mayfair Mall, I knew she was a seriously awesome and worthwhile person. I was going to add something about twittering with her and how cool that is, but my brain is SERIOUSLY like "OMG FULL SENTENCES WHAT?!" [ETA: OH! ALSO SHE NAMED MY IPOD, GRETA! which clearly means that she is a Very Insightful Individual. ♥]
urgh, bedtime. tagging
