First off, may I just say that leaving one's Winamp on list repeat as a matter of principle can be, at best, a double-edged sword? There are alarm clocks, and then there is King Henry shouting at Lord Scroop. Sam, I do love you, but your Furious Voice is not something nice with which to wake a girl. And
commodorified, I do love you, but Sam West's Furious Voice is not something nice with which to wake a girl.
In short, I nearly shat a brick.
Onward, however, onward and ever onward. So for your information, edification, and elucidation (alliteration!)--
My excuses for not being around all of Saturday include: not waking up till noon, Tradewinds II, gardening / shanty-singing, The Wrong War / The Frogs and the Lobsters, pirate cards, and Napoleon.
My excuses for not being around most of Sunday include: St. James' choir and My Fair Lady dressing-rooms.
Speaking of My Fair Lady, I would like to relate a single, succinct fact.
I don't know how he managed, but
john_ward513 played such a perfectly incredible Mr. Alfred P. Doolittle that I believe if my circumstances and self-control were not what they are I would be wanting him back (P.S. John, do not get bigheaded about this because I will smack you).
And now I to catchup, writing, iconning or studying, though I know not at the moment which.

Date: 2005-05-02 03:07 pm (UTC)...and one pack of the "Crimson Coast" cards which has... Vicomtesse Angelique de Richelieu, single-master Rover, and island with a fog bank on the other side (?), coins, a musketeer, and 4-masted ship Eagle

Date: 2005-05-02 03:18 pm (UTC).::pulls fleet over::.
Treasure; islands/terrain (that's what the fog bank is - a terrain piece), clearly... the Vicomte Jules de Cissey, who is an utter fop; a random pirate captain of no name; French chainshot specialist; Spanish musketeer; and the inquisitor Sebastian Blanco.
Ships: the French schooner Cleopatre, 3-masted ghost ship Amity, 3-masted pirate ship La Morte de Yarborough, 2-masted HMS Alexander, 3-masted HMS Bolingbroke, and the nearly-impossible-to-assemble ship the Matthias Vospero.

And yes, I think the Furious Voice is to be avoided. Not as aussiduously as The Hammer, but definitely to be avoided.

Date: 2005-05-03 07:52 am (UTC)Well then I suppose I should consider myself lucky, as well as even more decided to keep the mp3's on my laptop and out of the van.
You're entirely forgiven -- the
squeeabilitypositive merits of your beautiful generosity far outweigh any silliness of myself and my sleeping arrangements.(no subject)

Of course, to be fair, that was mostly the fault of the GINORMOUS BLIZZARD that was going on at the time... ;)
