This man is.

In fact, I am of the opinion, after further Tedious Screencapping, that this dude is that man. Or, at least, closer to it than Gillette.

I'm saying he's -not- Gillette, and is the Guy.

Mostly on the basis of how much ear shows below the wig, and the shape of the lobe that does show.

Gillette's wig covers all but the very bottom of the lobe of his ear. The man's wig covers about half his ear, and he's got a very distinctive lobe-- and so does the guy.

Is that first pic from the opening scenes on the Dauntless?

The interesting thing, and the one that on-and-off makes me go 'ehhhhh', is that the Guy, in the Dauntless shot (yes, you got it right), is wearing what looks like the wig Gillette wears in the dock scene. I don't think it's just camera angle.

But seriously, that dude is not Gillette. And the earlobe thing is a very good point, as is the wig-fitting.
