Hotel Wench Update: I have my own set of cleaning chemicals. Has my name misspelled on it and everything. YAY! Also, paycheck tomorrow. I'm off, but I'm popping in to pick it up and drop off some cookies for the girls, and then...

Pidge's Birthday: This Saturday. Therefore, after cashing paycheck, I am buying myself and him the Batman Begins game for GAMEUUUBE!!, which is what we have. Also, will get prepaid mailing cartons for VHS-sending. Also, will try hard not to make a stop at the comic store, and will probably fail. Oops in advance.

Fic stuff: I'm still working on the batfic. After that, I'll write something Pirates. Seriously. But, WRT said batfic, ARA I'M SORRY I SUCK SO RIDICULOUSLY TERRIBLY RETARDEDLY BAD. A nap turned into... not a nap, despite the fact that I had Trill set to practically explode my ear whenever it was that you came online. I go to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Vivs and Ess tonight, at 8:55, but after that (like, 11ish?) I'll be home and all about the batficcing.

Media, Movies, and Misc:
~Saw Wonka with Em, and it was BEAUTIFUL. I mean, Burton at the top of his game, Elfman at the top of his, Depp at the top of his, and just... *DROOL*

~While there, saw the P&P3 trailer. Thinking back on it, not so excited. But while I was there in front of the screen, ohSHIT did it look yummy. I may just be starved for Austen.

~Also saw Corpse Bride trailer, on bigscreen instead of tetchy laptop window. Also looking very pretty, and very funny, and very cool... in short, very Burton. More Burton-Depp! YAY!

~I have the most gorgeous desktop and theme EVER. It took me hours to perfect, but MMM. Excuse me, I need to minimize my windows and stare. Mmmmm...

~In the interest of spreading the joy like marmalade, firestorm717 has a stash of Crane-centric Batman Begins .avi clips. This is only marginally illegal, because a) I make no profit, b) someone else did the *really* illegal stuff first, c) I'm totally buying the shiniest, specialest-edition dvd the moment it comes out, d) and so is anyone who watches these because YUM. Also, e) the quality is like poop in comparison to the fantasticality of seeing it in a theater, esp. one with DTS. YAY DTS.


And, Just for S&G, Let's Talk Politics!
Patriot Act being bolstered again, damnitall, but hey, I hear Iraq's supposed to have a constitution soon.

hehehe.. well, I've joined the ranks of the employeed today and can only think one thing; what the f*** have I got myself into.

I start at Target Wednesday next week. Hello Kaki pants and red tops. *burys face in hands* God help me.

I just don't remmber retail with many fond experiences, but I know people who work at various Targets around the country and I never hear negative stuff.

S&G? To me, that means "Star & Garter" which is a pub (well, several pubs really, but one in particular which I used to frequent in Sheffield).
