Well. I have reason.

Jack came in the mail today! It is a gorgeous book (as we knew) and even shinier in person. Thank you commodorified! And thank you gryphons_lair! Andandand... I really want to dive in and read it, but I am much in need of a nap between now and DinnerAndAMovie.

Also arrived, my check card. This is good. Though I think I shall continue to be safely afraid of it for a bit, for the money-trouble issues I have already mentioned. But, it is calming to know that, should I need ATM-powerz, I am equipped. ...godwilling I do not forget my PIN...

Ahh, Jack Absolute, a v. pretty book gift from commodorified. His journey from her to me has been something of a minor, untold saga. And, his queue (and cravat, and coat, and breeches, and boots, and...) look(s) v. v. nice.

We are going to sit out under a tree tomorrow and have some quality time.
