Ugh. Ughughugh.
Ok, now that that's out...
I worked Pidge's dress rehearsal for HMS Pinafore today, didn't get home until 9ishness. He's the First Lord of the Admiralty, so he's wearing my commodore-non-commodore costume plus black pants onto which I sewed a gold braid stripe. I also happened to sew a LOT of other costumes while I was there... a lot. And Pidge was sick, so I had to dash down to the Upper School building to buy him a soda, then run it back up to the All Purpose Room (our stage) in the Lower School building... and yeah stuff.
Their set? For the HMS Pinafore? 6 random dangling ropes and a paTHETically fake mast. Holy. Crap. Pidge's (my) costume is the only one that's not either incredibly fake or mid-20th-century. It's sad. But they're only in middle school, so.
But in that time, my laptop and I made 3 icons. (Well, one I made last night.) Yesterday Vivs and I spent a while after school teaching eachother photoshop spiffies, so these are making use of said spiffies. Enjoy!

This is for Psalms to the Taffrail (in case you can't read that across the top). The lyrics are from Ingram Hill's Will I Ever Make It Home, which always makes me think of James and PtT. This is the one of the three that I'd rather not have people snatch, unless you're using it to actively rec PtT.

Quote from HMS Pinafore. I made it while listening to Pidge sing that song, so. The red script on the top says "I chased bloody pirates all across the sea," in case you're wondering.

Hehee. I like this one. The script on the bottom says "classedasamardigrasfloat," if you're having a tough time reading it.
Another note: all three of these are made with fingerpad rather than mouse, and neither did I use brushes (I don't have any good ones on my laptop yet).
Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to shower and collapse.
