I love how half my flist just exploded with House-y flittering.
...ooh. flittering. I meant something squee-ish with that, but it also works with the quasi-spammish amusing angle, no? no. I'm on crack. okay.
just a thought from tv-less me on House before I go write that econ paper I TOTALLY FORGOT WAS DUE TOMORROW OOPS:
House/Wilson isn't canon? k so I only saw one ep, but... House/Wilson isn't canon? wow. coulda fooled me. tres amused.
NOW, WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT MICROENTERPRISES AND POLLUTION?
THOUGHT SO, BITCH.

Appendix for Politics Night: discrimination is, in fact, bad. lets keep it that way, Mainers.
(also, I want to thank everyone who's offered prayers, thoughts, wigglies, support, etc. re: da's interview. not sure when (or if) we'll get a response, but I'm pretty sure I'll be one of the first to know, and from then so will y'all. *heart!*)
(and also welcome to
phurie_dae. refreshments are at the back of the room, courtesy of someone more responsible than I.)

Date: 2005-11-09 08:37 am (UTC)thanks much. it's been ... too many years since he's had a job. he worked one day at McDonalds in like, September, but they decided after that one day that it "just wouldn't work out". we tried to tell him 'dude, you don't want to be working there and you totally dodged a bullet'... but I kinda keep wondering which rejection letter, or just plain no-call, is gonna be the one to push him over the edge. I do worry about my daddy. *wibble*

Date: 2005-11-08 09:45 pm (UTC)Maybe House/Wilson is so intriguing because it's right on the edge of being canon... Somehow, it's not 'quite' so interesting when there's no doubt they're gay. Where's the creative license for that? *completely talking out my arse.. sorry*
*keeps fingers crossed for your dad*

Date: 2005-11-09 08:42 am (UTC)...no, I'm with you on that. personally, I'm still ... House/Wilson isn't canon?? but no, yeah. I kinda found that with M&C. there's less ... problem-solving to do. and I almost feel like I'm... interloping? which is weirder than weird, since it'd be more 'interlope'-ish to be setting up, oh, say, TWO GODDAMNED OPPOSITES AND BASICALLY ENEMIES (Sparrington, W/C)... but damn. it's more fun.
thanks babe.

Date: 2005-11-09 10:17 am (UTC)I know House is the snarky doctor, but er.... who are the rest? Just some descriptions from all you much more enlightened individuals.

Date: 2005-11-09 11:00 am (UTC)Robert Chase = Aussie with Flippy!Hair, tends to be rather sarcastic, sometimes a jerk. (in this past episode, he so totally got praised from House for a snappy comment).
Eric Foreman = Guy with criminal record, tends to be a serious jerk when he sees racism in everything, but sometimes can be okay.
James Wilson = "Oncologist Boy Wonder". Or was it "Boy Wonder Oncologist"? Either way, we heart Wilson. Yes we do.
Lisa Cuddy = Hospital administrator. Very fond of GCS (Gratuitous Cleavage Shots). Has little to no actual control over House.

Date: 2005-11-09 10:55 am (UTC)But now the House/Wilson/Cameron is practically canon too. xD
I wonder how often Wilson is going to say something about divorce/divorce proceedings/needs to get a divorce.
did anyone else think that it was, well, stupid that House sent everyone else out of the room when he detected the radiation, but they he stayed there?
