I don't mean to take you all down with me, I mostly want to let you know why all christmas doohickeys will be delayed--

our oven's broken, and the tree took my mom's eye out (well, not out out, it's still in her head, but apparently pretty brutally scratched up. I haven't had the guts to look, and I don't think I will). so I'll be helping her out a lot.


In other news, it's Christmas Eve!

she should be. it's a... corneal abrasion? so either it heals quickly (but fucking painfully) or it ... um, doesn't, and is dangerous. and also fucking painful.

on the up side, she has a supply of vicodin, which is a sure-fire way to survive the holidays with our extended brood!
