that's black lung disease (at least, I think it is; I've never actually looked it up -- mum and I just guessed from the greek and latin bases when I had to give a definition). I chose it for a spelling word in 4th grade.

...and I feel stupid because I got out on "leprechaun" in my 2nd-grade spelling bee. Thanks Mel, you re-opened that old wound, I'm going to go cry now.

I've gotten out on the words 'electricity', 'happiness', 'repel', and 'aggression'. in that order. no, I will never forget. stupid double-letters.

I'll agree with you on the stupid double letters - I got out on sheriff. Which I did know how to spell, but they wanted to narrow down the group some more, so they said that you couldn't re-start, then changed the rule back to being allowed to re-start four people down the line.
