so I finally finished my anthro paper. I'm actually very very happy with it; I think it's one of my better papers this year. about the 'ritual' of buying comics (the pull list way) every week (OH GOD I HOPE I REMEMBERED TO EDIT THAT SUPERBOY PRIME SUCKS JOKE OUT. yes I did. ok). now I just need to... nail down that 7-page bastard on Faerie and the Victorian consciousness (I think I'll focus on Wilde's "The Happy Prince", and just kinda... mention the others. no need to go overboard) before Friday.

write index cards (well, I don't have any of those. what are the dimensions of a conservatively-sized index card?) for my calc exam at 8:00 tomorrow morning.

run field notes down to anthro prof's office.

call dean's office to set up appointment.

attend appointment.

pack.

STUDY SHIT.

...and, so long as I can do about 5-700 words of that fairytale paper each day, I should be covered. I think.

[ETA: AND ALSO ONE OF THOSE JOURNAL ENTRY THINGIES, EACH DAY.]

of course it's raining too retardedly outside for me to justify putting on real bottoms and going for dinner, so it'll just be more earl grey when I wake up and maybe something from the campus store. like a Red Bull.

Haha, one time I edited all the jokes out of a paper and my teacher said it was too bland and I took it too seriously. :x

this is DEFINITELY the least formal of my papers (except maybe the first one I did for her), but I couldn't have kept that line in. it was like... "...Superman is still Superman; Batman is still Batman; Jason is still dead -- oh, wait. So, if we take Superboy Prime and his angry fists of doom out of the equation..."

Hehe, I would have left it in, but I have an unhealthy irreverence for my grades. ;D That's an excellent line.

well, if that's not a love song I don't know what is, so it makes perfect sense.

on the other hand, so does the 'world falling down' part o_O;

(this icon is the closest I have to a Bowie icon. isn't that sad?)

I had a package from Canada get stuck at customs, once... but it was a big mess of a thing with all sorts of junk in it. *frown*
