Pidge and I watched Sunburn this evening (which DVD worked perfectly, thank you [livejournal.com profile] bagelmuffin_luv!), and it was very happy-making. I find, unfortunately, that the movies I've seen for Cillian have been rather hit-or-miss as to my enjoyment, but this one's definitely a hit. and a quote from the boy upon seeing the title menu: "oh, it's a movie about a boy in a pink shirt ... wait. haven't we seen this one before?" *giggle* -- of course I'm also obliged to mention how TWILIGHT ZONE it was seeing Davin in (adorably hopeless) drag and just thinking, "well, practice makes perfect?" all in all, a very fun, very cute movie, sweet but not too sweet, just the way I like them. yay!

switching gears, here's a quick something for my girl [livejournal.com profile] __dtrain who had a bit of an unsatisfactory day (though it's clearing up, so consider this fashionably late).

yes, those are my little monkey toes poking out from the cuffs of my uniform bottoms.

aand, Pidge wants me to watch Craig Ferguson with him, but I need to go to BED NOW! because there's work tomorrow >.<;

Good stuff! Haha I thought the same when I saw him in that yes, very, extremely adorably hopeless drag.

By the way, which Cillian movie was a miss for you?

I actually didn't really care for Intermission. and Disco Pigs is something I have to take in small doses, as it makes me nervous. but that's something I find rather frequently with the earlier performances of favorite actors -- I think it's something in the acting style, when someone's still getting used to doing it for the camera. ... or whatever. *think think*

I have to take Disco Pigs in small doses too, and I have to decide ahead of time that i want to watch it. It is never a spur of the moment thing. Each time I watch it I find it more brilliant though.

nevermind that the naughty monologue makes me squirm and I usually watch it alone
