themeletorpart the first: Believers Never Die was indeed DOWNRIGHT MOTHERFUCKING AWESOME. some delightful take-no-prisoners pushing and crushing and moments of epic crowd-wide passion. god I love this shit. also got to share it (and the same half-dozen or fewer cubic feet of space) with the amazing girl and, when we could keep her with us, fabulous fairestcat, plus also a friend of the girl's (who is quite awesome in her very own right). happy, happy, happy mel. (ps HOW AM I SO FUCKING LUCKY?!)
then worked a double at the restaurant today. ow?
part the second: for those of you who haven't already seen this info on facebook, my poor little phone was a casualty of the crowd last night. while it's out to be fixed I have a loaner phone, but said phone has no contacts in it. so feel free to text me, but please let me know who you are when you do.
part the third:
tomorrow (monday) I need to drop off the phone at a US Cellular corporate/repair location before a full shift at Outpost. then I come home and bake cookies/make fondant and generally prepare for Tuesday decorating bonanza, do laundry, and in the best possible world pass out before or near midnight. [ETA: store doesn't open until 10, so I'll have to drop the phone off right *after* my shift. at least I get to sleep later tomorrow!]
tuesday: up early to drop sister off at work and then decorate official full batch (small batch: a dozen, maybe eighteen) of clockwork cookies for Wiscon. Outpost in the evening. nothing planned in the evening though there will probably be carryover from the morning.
wednesday both I and my gorgeous girl have off ALL DAY, so after my customary lunch with Natasha the afternoon will be full of our shenanigans. I can't wait. (SERIOUSLY, IS IT WEDNESDAY NOW?)
thursday I presume I have a lunch shift at Stir Crazy, after which I'm bumming with my heart and soulanniejd11. then it's time to prepare for WISCON, and with any luck I'll make it into the House that Slash Built thursday night (so that I don't have to be a screaming mimi on friday morning)
friday through sunday is WISCON WISCON WISCON and FANGIRLS FRIENDS AMAZING in madison. hells yes. oh god I don't have time for this shit, but hells yes. sunday I am leaving in the afternoon to be home in time for People in Planes at the Rave, and then...
then it is to be life as usual chez meletor. I suspect.
but until then HOLY FUCK HOW IS THIS EVEN MY LIFE? I don't even know. I DON'T know. but I love it.
now I need to go to bed ... half an hour ago. woo!
