one of lion brand yarn's free patterns this month is an adorable amigurumi doll named patrick the pumpkin boy. he looks like this:



and needless to say i am going to crochet it. also i would really like the fic where patrick is born in a pumpkin patch. maybe pete is the farmer's son. or he's a gourd.

AND i watched the nightmare before christmas last night (with my friend who wants to produce it as a stage musical which will be awesome), AND while i was in goodwill shopping for formalwear to tear up for my badass zombie-fighting undead princess costume, "the batty bat" started playing over the storewide soundsystem.

... have i mentioned that this is my FAVORITE month?
