I am mysteriously crabby.

Just so you know.

Actually... maybe not so mysterious. Just being made to recognize my newbiedom. Again.
Which always makes me feel useless.

I could just grin, bear it, realize that I *am* a newbie and Pirates *was* my first fandom ... first-and-a-half, if you count Potter ... and I could just stfu and write something, be proactive, if I want attention make something worth said attention ...
Mel, you loser, lower your mad expectations and JUST HAVE FUN

... *fannish angst*

(also, [livejournal.com profile] drbillbongo, you so weren't on. rrgh)

*cough*
*grin*
hi. we now return you to your regularly scheduled angst-free journal. sorry about all that.

I'm sorry you're feeling down. . .If it's any consolation, everyone was a newbie at some point, and just as there'll always be folks who've been around longer than you, there'll always be folks who are newer than you. Keep your chin up!

You're a newbie? Really? Huh. I didn't know that, and with Psalms, I never would have guessed.

stfu is one of the funniest anagrams I know. It just looks funny and think about saying it out loud; Stfu...hee! Makes me think of Gary Stu's for some reason. *shrug*

*poke* don't be sad. *hands you a cookie*

Didn't some famous guy once say that only the wise man knows he knows nothing?
Not that it helps this situation. But no worries, you are far far FAR less noob than I. You are possibly the most pro/knowledgeable people that I've encountered in this fandom, no jokes.
Considering this fandom is an extremely young one, the noob to oldie difference is much smaller than something like star trek. Or Harry Potter even. Just think, it could be worse.

...I don't think you're useless...

not that that really helps, I know nothing about ficcing. I'm just your general Latin/econ/science/music/theology/philospohy nerd.

Wow I am not normal at all. But we knew that already.
