Help!

Alright, here's the deal.

I've been toughing it out for a week.

...I'm done toughing.
Where am I going tomorrow? It can't, won't be here. I'll do yardwork; I'll do housework. But I'll not stay here. In short, I need somewhere to spend Saturday, where I can forget I'm actually living in this red-brick ranch of screaming and chaos. Just for a day. Then I'll come back and be able to deal with another week, after which mum will leave, and we'll take it from there.

But, this weekend? I really, really need out. Seriously, I can bring my own trimming, digging, and/or cleaning tools. I'll dig ditches, I'll haul rocks, I'll start to quote Fiddler on the Roof. Just, please, get me out of here.

I am not good at the whole advice-giving thing, but, if it is nice out, take your laptop, lunch, a pen or pencil, good music, and plenty of paper and go to a park. Then, just go and write and read and...spend the day at your leisure in the peace and tranquility of nature.

And my mom and I have gardens/landscaping that could use another gardner's love. And my dear mumsie will show off her irises, etc.

And then she might ask for help with woodchipping and the like.

I'll second that. Get out, get away. Doesn't really matter where.

I'd say come along on my trip to Yosemite, but for the whole distance thing. :(
