Right, folks, here's the deal...
Jun. 8th, 2005 11:18 amI'm in a bad place right now. Usually, this "I am tiny I should rot" feeling precedes a burst of Fic-Becasue-I-Need-To-Prove-Myself. However,
fic_on_demand is taking up most of my ficcing energy and By Hook or By Crook 5, where the rest of said energy was looking to head, is now having to be re-assembled and re-considered, for personal reasons.
I don't take my friendslist lightly. Sure, I'll friend back just about anyone who friends me, but as far as staying friended, or in the case of me friending first, the user has to be someone who I greatly esteem and respect, and also whose journal I appreciate reading, and whose self I appreciate knowing, and whose goodness as a human being I can trust. And so far, I've not been let down by anyone. The wonderful people (or, their respective lj personas) with whom I've become acquainted through LiveJournal are some of the most wonderful, kindest, most caring and clever and creative people in my life, and I am proud every day to scroll down my flist and see the names there that I do. Some of you I've met face-to-face; most of you I haven't. But you're all incredible people.
I don't always say just how deeply I admire each of you. But I want to do that now.
So if you could do me the favour of commenting here with your okay, I'd like to write a post for each person on my flist ... gushing, quite frankly. I was planning on making these posts public, because I personally have no reason not to, and therefore want to make sure I have the go-ahead from each person before I start Confessing My Undying Appreciation and Admiration for him/her.
In the meantime, I meet Vivs for lunch.

Psst. KoH...or, if that fails, maybe we could make it a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory date.
Um. As for the rest of it, I must say, I'm surprised and slightly humbled by the idea. As everyone's been saying; you are seriously awesome in your own right and since I'm either going to get repetitious or mushy, I'm going to simply say, "What they said" because my anwswer is, okay, but again with the, "not fussed if you don't get to me" because that's such a wonderful thing to even think about doing, never mind doing, and your awesomeness has made this sweltering, icky, moving day better.
ooh yeah, hope lunch was good.
