Not a bad day at work. Everyone was all "awwww, we're gonna miss joo," and on the drive home I was able to block out two or three icon ideas. Andthen.

I come home, find my laptop gone. Poof. NOT THERE. Not COOL, because I had several ongoing projects and some queued downloads that are now... NOT. This is all because da wanted to test my wireless card. Which is cool with me, but we'd planned for me to go with him, because... several things. For one, I need to know how to use the fucker (yes, she is in fact pissed off). For another, I need to configure it for the Bowdoin network, and I don't know if he knows that. Le shit.

Also, I am apparently leaving for an overnight in Chicago before I fly out ... TOMORROW at 5 PM. Not Thursday. This is news to me, especially as the list that I was given of 'things that need to be done by when' specifically stated that Thursday at 5 was the endgame. BAH! And I have the Uncles taking me out for dinner tonight, and tomorrow is clearly going to be crazyshitcrazy, so I'm really hoping I can get lj stuff sorted out before 6 tonight (which would be dinner) or at the VERYFUCKINGLATEST quite soon after that, because my laptop will probably be under various processes of cleanup and preparation tomorrow. If not, then hey, I guess shrieking_ell will get a look at Straw Men - Toxic before it goes up. And I'll have even more stress throughout the moving-out-and-moving-in thing. YAYZ.

Oh, one mooore thing. Guess, just guess where I change flights? Go on, guess. You guessing? Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. .::facepalms::. Yes, please, scare me MORE about this trip, thanks, I totally needed it. Luckily, I have about an hour and a half to make my way through (arrive at 9:44AM, depart at 11:45AM), so I can keep the freakout level relatively low.

...In all, the Meletor is not a happy chica. She is v. v. beginning to spaz.


But, you know what? I can survive this. I will totally survive this. And in the end, that's all that really matters.

(also, still looking for those snaps of glam!Joker, otherwise will have to figure something else out for layout)
