update, and icons
Sep. 2nd, 2005 10:26 pmEcon 219 was major fun. Almost more fun than History of Gayness. And, heh, I'm the only first-year in the class. Coolness.
Yesterday, Marie (roommate) and I went out to the poster sale by Druckenmiller Hall, and got dormwarming things -- 4 small (9x11 0r something) prints: a Kandinsky ('Red, Yellow, Blue'), an Escher ('Day and Night'), a Monet ('Giardino'), and a Picasso; an Absinthe Robette poster for my side of the room (the Kandinsky resides there was well); a Japanese ocean print, 'Starry Night', and Degas' 'Danza' for her side. She has the Escher above her desk, and I have my Dali (painted by Vivs) above mine. The Picasso is next to her desk because I don't like it so much -- I like Picasso, just not 'Fleurs et Mains'. Monet is on the wall above the couch, where we can both love it.
Dinner, I thought I should recount, was Charred Lime Ginger Mahi Mahi with Fruit Salsa (and rice, and a small salad withthe best dressing ever Creamy Oriental dressing). It just makes me grin that Bowdoin serves Charred Ginger Lime Mahi Mahi with Fruit Salsa. First in the nation, darling! *smug*
...Right. Enough of that. Other things:
Yesterday I made a Batman Begins fanvid. YAY *flop*
Monday, I go to Sailing Club's first meeting. YAY!
Right now, I present some (not many) icons. YAY?
