1- It's Northanger Abbey Day at AustenBlog! MUCH fun. Fangirling geekness that cannot be contained. For various reasons. *snerkle* Wig!
2- The Media Pit (basement of Sills Hall -- "Foriegn Language Media Library") is one Very Cool Place. Though, ok, Macs still creep me out. No offense intended to the Mac-users on my list, because they are certainly very smooth and tasteful-looking things, which is less than I can claim for the majority of PCs, but... iMacs especially still freak me. Box goes where??!?
3- I had macaroni and cheese for breakfast. Mm.
4- ...still smells like puke and booze... which is malassociating and becoming a turn-off for the 'drunk threesome in Bludhaven' crack dealie. Foo.
5- I have 4 pages, typed double-spaced, to write for Film Noir, on a major scene change between the novel and the film. ...I'm sorry; can anyone else say "my life as usual"? Already have the notes, just need to put the words together. E. Z. (now watch me not get it done) Also, Bogart/Bacall = my Golden-Age Hollywood OTP.
6- Last of all, I got myself all Facebook-ed up last night, while Merce was barfing on my door. And I did eventually get to sleep... when I could barely make it to my bed any more.
[Note to self -- go into town for hangers, clothespins, string, and a booklight. kthx.]

Date: 2005-09-18 02:06 pm (UTC)Okay, when I say golden I mean something to do at 5am other than staring blankly at the walls wondering who the hell thought cinderblock was a good idea since it's ugly as hell and nowhere NEAR soundproof *stabs housing*

Date: 2005-09-18 02:30 pm (UTC)Ooh, BTW, I don't know how busy you are ATM but I need someone to beta my J/W-ficathon entry. It's not done yet but I was hoping you might be free to beta it when it is...

Date: 2005-09-18 02:35 pm (UTC)Nope, not up to much, save plotting and planning for my Harley costume (imagine I could get away with a scoop-neck?)... I'd be glad to give it a once-over when you're done. I ought to be pretty much free for the night and most of tomorrow, except for that Film Noir paper.
