I am feeling stupid because: Pearl has been throwing a multiple-week-long hissyfit which, I thought, included not responding to any attempts to reset her (it also included not turning off her backlight, refusing to go into sleep mode, and, most recently, causing abuse to the Incorrigible, who really just doesn't deserve that). turns out I was just hitting the wrong buttons. we're good now :)

I am feeling not-stupid because: I just had my German 101 final. now, mind you, I was feeling stupid for a while in there (and I still figure I got EVERY. SINGLE. FREAKING. ARTICLE. WRONG), but after everyone else had finished and gone I took a break from my last short essay to chat a little with my professor, and she said things like she thought I was smart! and gifted with languages! and a joy to have in class! even though I hardly ever turned in my homework! *glow*

I am feeling excited because: I've got the cookies & treats & stuff all figured out, and am way pumped to get started! dude, this is seriously going to happen! YAY!


also, after my shower today I walked straight out of my towel and into a warm fluffy blanket, curled up on my bed, and didn't get up until noon. that's something I haven't done since I was TINY. I'm still ambivalent as to whether it was a worthwhile use of my time, but at the moment I'm leaning toward 'yes.'

so, it's 2 in the morning and me, I'm battling finals. or, well, I sounded a temporary retreat.

so for everyone who's in the midst of finals, just finished them (congrats you!), or is simply having One Of Those Days Nights, ( don't worry; even the best of us get stuck in our sweatshirts sometimes. )

and if anyone so much as touches the rest of my Dave Matthews Band ice cream sitting in the common room freezer, the whole of Chamberlain Hall will feel my wrath. I have already taken many lives this night; do not test me.
