What's up with you English-speaking fellows that your language sucks so much that you hate entire shapes it takes on, such as passive voice?

I mean, dude. They should've thought better when creating it than balking at using it later.

you have a point there. I mean, in Spanish? totally cool with the passive voice. I don't know what it is that makes it so much worse in Englis, but apparently the writers of encyclopedias, textbooks, and politicians' speeches get exemptions.

...it just causes a word tangle, most of the time. especially in fiction. and also muchly weakens the sentence, almost all of the time. ESPECIALLY in fiction.
