[13:07] meletor_et_al: but the people who pick it up thinking it's a popcorn comedy will laugh, maybe enjoy it, but without *appreciation*

[13:09] meletor_et_al: but... posters! soundtrack! book tie-in!
[13:10] phurie_dae: It's still only available here in little artsy cinemas, I think.
[13:11] phurie_dae: So, really, it's not a mainstream film. They need to make DVD sales somehow.
[13:11] meletor_et_al: so why change that method so dramatically and whore it out like ... that!!? anyone who *would* have watched it as a random "let's watch something quirky tonight" art film *won't* in that packaging
[13:11] phurie_dae: Movie making people are shameless soulless gits.

[13:13] meletor_et_al: but ok look at the quality of Irwin and Charlie. that's ... they don't even *look* like them. it's not possibly, possibly official. no way.
