*(where by "even after almost ten years" I mean that at age 12 or something I went to the family hairdresser's, handed her a copy of my sister's Sailor Moon manga with the Sailor Scouts on the cover, pointed at Haruka and said "make me look like that.")

this somehow amuses me. perhaps because it is SO LATE :o

By the time I realized I might be bisexual, I thought it was perfectly NORMAL for girls to like girls. I was in my early teens...and when I finally started saying in my head, "I am bisexual" I was around seventeen/eighteen.

(I grew up Roman Catholic, but with a gay uncle in a committed relationship. so my mother, strangely, raised me in the belief that girls liked boys, and boys liked girls, but sometimes boys liked boys and that was okay too; even though the Church said it was a sin we should love them. girls liking girls, though, was not even a conceptual *possibility* for me until ... huh, until approximately Sailor Moon :p)

I never really watched Sailor moon....but I DO know I thought Neptune and Uranus were HOT.

And lo and behold, they tur out to be lesbians!!!
